In 2025 William Bailey Ltd were appointed by Henry Brothers Construction Ltd to carry out the design, supply and installation of the Mechanical works package and any other associated works within the orangutan enclosure at Twycross Zoo. These works are due to commence February 2026 and will be ongoing for a period of December 2026
The works will be carried out in the NSCC, Orangutan Habitat and Residential and will include:-
- Installation of Air Conditioning Systems
- Installation of Ventilation Systems
- Installation of Domestic Hot & Cold Water Systems
- Installation of LTHW Heating Systems
- Installation of the BMS
- Installation of Insulation
