Project Design

William Bailey’s design philosophy and calculations are constantly interrogated and checked through CIBSE recommended HEVACOMP systems to ensure compliance with clients’ design parameters.  Along side this we also undertake Building Regulation compliance checks utilising SBEM and Thermal Modelling software for all new and existing buildings to ensure Part L to A and B Regulations are demonstrated and pass prior to incorporation into any construction schemes we undertake as part of the services contractors design and build remit.

From inception to operation and construction, our teams employ BIM  and 2D CAD to provide our clients with predictability, scenario testing and sustainable construction while providing on site safety, construction management and asset management as an integrated process.

Co-ordination of all services is undertaken to fully co-ordinate building services along with full integration of the associated electrical installations being fundamental to the design along with structural steel checks using clash detection systems to flag any issues prior to construction issue.

Various design initiatives are incorporated within William Bailey’s projects whenever possible to provide practical, aesthetically pleasing and fully co-ordinated buildings along with value engineering incentives through in-house innovation to assist with general buildability and satisfy our clients commercial budget constraints.

Requests for information are always met with the speediest of responses and William Bailey actively encourage our regular design team in client meetings throughout our engagements to ensure all aspects and any client changes are captured at the earliest opportunity through the design process.

In addition where targeted we also embrace BREEAM credit into our mechanical services designs in the form of major water leak detection monitoring via BMS Systems, local water solenoid valves operated via PIRs, refrigeration leak detection, rainwater harvesting installations, other water saving devices such as low capacity / dual flush cisterns etc.
