Description of Works:
Works were carried out to upgrade and modernise the existing heating system within and existing two-storey building to a more energy efficient system.
- The existing boilers have been removed and replaced with two large Air Source Heat Pumps situated outside the plantroom on a new concrete base.
- The existing plantroom has be upgraded with new pipework, Buffer Vessels, pumps, BMS Panel, & associated BMS controls.
- A Mixture of new radiators and fan convectors have been installed on both the ground and first floors. The existing pipework has been modified to suit the new layouts.
- New radiators have been installed in the link area with slight alterations to the existing pipework.
- A new larger sized over door air curtain has been installed which is fed from its own CT heating circuit.
